高校３年のShotaくん（成人会話クラス）は、県の海外語学研修に参加し、２週間、アメリカ・シアトル近辺でホームステイをしながら語学学校にも通い、英語漬けの毎日を過ごしてきました！今回はそのレポートです。

Shota's Report: Homestay in Seattle!!

I stayed at Bassi's house and joined their family for two weeks. And I could know them a little. So I'll write about my host family.

First, I introduce my hose father. His name is Harnek, and I called him Dad. He is 47 years old. He is Asian Indian, so he always wore turban. I was surprised and scared of him when I met him for the first time. But he is a very kind man. He always smile at me and behaved kindly. He is a truck driver and he works very hard. He always goes to bed at 6 p.m. and get up at 1 a.m. So I couldn't talk with him a lot. But I know that he is a great man, so I like him very much.

Second, I introduce my host mother. Her name is Virender, and I called her Mon. She is 50 years old. My hose family's religions is Sikih, so men can eat only chicken and women can't eat meat. So I couldn't eat meat a lot. But she is very kind and good cook. Dinner time was one of my favorite time during my home stay. But the dishes which she made was too spicy for me...But I like her very much.

Last, I introduce my host brother. His name is Prem and I called him Prem. He is 17 years old. He has one brother and one sister. But his brother studies at university and his sister had already married. So they didn't live in the same house. Prem is in TAF Academy's speech class, and he is interested in Japanese. So he can speak Japanese a little. He is good at playing sports like football, soccer, and basketball. We played basketball every day. It was very fun. We also played UNO every day. I never felt sick of playing UNO because I played with him. Thanks for him, I could enjoy American life. So I like him very very much.

They are my host family. I'll never forget this stay, and really hope to meet them again.
